What a month April is turning out to be for our family. We have managed to get almost 6 inches of rain in the past couple of weeks with more fore casted for this weekend. We have not had a flood, but there is a lot of water standing in the fields. As of this morning the longer range forecasts are calling for some drier weather the end of the month, but it will take a good warm and windy week to dry out the ground enough to plant. We are hoping we can begin planting by the last week of April.
While it has been raining I have been trying to take care of the family. Luke brokehis collar bone two weeks ago, Erin had knee surgery on the 6th and Luke fell at mom and dads just before easter dinner and had to get 4 stitches. Lots of excitement and doctor bills, but as my grandma always tells me it could be worse!!!!
