We received almost 1 inch

We received almost 1 inch of rain on all of our farms late Sunday night.
This was a very welcome rain which gave us a few days to unwind a little bit
from the fall season. We started harvest the third week of August and have
been going hard at it ever since then. We are in very good shape
concerning all of the fieldwork as we head into 2013. We were able to get
all the nitrogen on we wanted and completed all the field work we needed
to. Now we are focusing on seed selection for next year and getting end of
the year bookwork in order and trying to get some deer hunting in. This
next week we will be finishing up the list and getting all of the equipment
ready for winter. The two pictures include a view of the sunrise from my
deer stand on Wednesday morning and a photo of the rainbow over our house when I
was working in the shed on Sunday morning.
